Pasar Baru or in Dutch Passer Baroe, is a place located in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta. Pasar Baru is a shopping place. Its built in 1820, and its the oldest market place in Jakarta. It used to be a prestigious place, replacing the crowded Old Batavia as the site of the central government of the Dutch East Indies. But, this place is still open until now.
